found it

my camera was in the laptop bag. Now I can get a couple of pics to share. I have finished the lap quilt I was working on, and am happy enough with it to want to keep it. A good sign. Hope the lovely lady it is for will enjoy it. Here is a pic of the little quilt I received from Mary. It is so lovely. I am going to use it as a centre on our dining table, when it is cleared of sewing machine, fabric , laptop etc.

Going to Australia

My little quilt is going to Australia. I hope the receiver will like it. Cant wait to get a quilt. I've asked not to be told which I am getting. Want it to be a surprise. It will be lovely to be in touch with someone who shares the same interests.......from Australia. wow!

A little quilt swap

I am waiting in great expectation to hear which quilt I will be receiving. Also, who will get my little quilt. I am new to this, so I expect to get better the more I stitch.

I've been stitcching away at my little quilt, for A Little Quilt Swap, and am almost there. A bit nervous, as I never did anything like this before. The quilts posted are lovely. I made this little block as a test piece before making a quilt for my daughter. It is too small for this swap, but I like it.
