happy quilt day

I had a lovely day just stitching. No demands on me from anyone else. Completed small quilt top and am really pleased with it. However, I have mislaid my camera. Really want to take a pic. Where can it be? I know I had it on Friday :(

My lovely little quilt arrived from Mary this morning. It was number 4 on my list which was in no particular order, as I would happily have given a home to any one of them. It is fresh and lovely, and I have tried it in all sorts of places in my home. It is now on the back of the rocking chair so everyone can admire it. Have mislaid my camera, so cant take a pic. Will do asap.

At Nucsle

We went to Nucsle today. Well, to the uninitiated in grandson speak, Newcastle, where the mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea. Had a great time with the kids. Auntie Caro went on the fairground waltzer with them. You wouldn't get me on one of those things EVER again. Enjoyed the beach, some KFC and plenty of walking. My kind of day.

Going to Australia

My little quilt is going to Australia. I hope the receiver will like it. Cant wait to get a quilt. I've asked not to be told which I am getting. Want it to be a surprise. It will be lovely to be in touch with someone who shares the same interests.......from Australia. wow!

A little quilt swap

I am waiting in great expectation to hear which quilt I will be receiving. Also, who will get my little quilt. I am new to this, so I expect to get better the more I stitch.

walkin in the park

had lovely walk in the park with hub and dog this morn. beautiful. 9pm rain has come now tho. that's what makes this isle so green, and the park so beautiful, so I am not complaining.

This place

I love this park. It is beautiful in all seasons of the year. Best of all I love summer here.

school holidays

Well, true to form there has been some rain first day of school holidays. Did I say some? Torrential rain. Got soaked to the skin running from car to doc's and back. Well, at my age I dont run fast. However, it is warm and the sun is now shining. The garden is fresh and watered. The grandchildren havent started to complain about being bored. Happy days.
